With the game getting closer to its targeted release date, publisher Bandai Namco has showed off another gameplay trailer for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." This time, the new footage highlights tag-team matches.

According to Siliconera, the new video pitted Rin Nohara and Hanabi Hyuga's "The Last Naruto Movie" character against the kid versions of Uchiha Obito and Hatake Kakashi.

While the trailer may have showcased gameplay moves from a sample tag-team match for the game, the selection of the characters themselves are interesting. The three – Kakashi, Rin, and Obito – are the original Team 7 guided by the Fourth Hokage in the original manga series of "Naruto." While Rin did not survive into adulthood, Kakashi grew up to be the mentor to another Team 7 – Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura – and even lived to be the Sixth Hokage. Uchiha Obito, meanwhile, served as an antagonist and one of the pivotal characters in the closing arcs of the manga adaptation.

Meanwhile, although Bandai Namco has not listed any specific details for additional characters in its DLC lineups, leaks nonetheless continue to crop up. The latest rumors suggest that two of the expected DLC addition characters will be the adult versions of Naruto and Sasuke, as what fans have witnessed in the most recent "Naruto" movie. Reportedly, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will showcase Naruto as the Seventh Hokage, and Sasuke as he appeared in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will also be added as well.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is the final chapter in the "Ultimate Ninja Storm" list of games and will cover the last arcs of the original manga series, particularly the Fourth Ninja War. The game is set to be released early next month for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will roll out on Feb. 4 in Japan, Feb. 5 in Europe, and Feb. 9 in North America.
