With the MTV VMA 2014 just two weeks away, performers for the night are being announced. One of them will be Maroon 5.
According to MTV News, Maroon 5 has taken a couple of Moonmans home, but they've never performed on the stage of the VMA, which is why they want it to happen now.
Adam Levine, lead singer of the pop band, shared how he wants the band to perform. "I like to keep it raw... exciting... get your blood pumping... and then we run out there... I want my MTV."
Another artist that will be gracing the stage of the 2014 MTV VMA is none other than Beyonce herself. Beyonce is set to perform, again, and it will definitely be a memorable one, just like her previous VMA performances.
Not only that, Beyonce has eight nominations this year and will be awarded the night's most coveted award, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. This lifetime achievement honor was also awarded to the likes of Madonna, George Michael, Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson.
Meanwhile, another favorite pop star will be performing on the 2014 VMA and she is none other than Taylor Swift. According to Perez Hilton, Swift is confirmed to perform with an explosive solo performance. The author also hinted that Swift might perform a new song.
Other confirmed performers of the night include Usher, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora. The list of additional performers as well as presenters will be announced in the coming days or weeks.
The 2014 MTV VMA will be held the Forum in Inglewood on August 24 and will be airing live.
