In the next episode of "Mom," Christy (Anna Faris) seeks the company of a former fling when a long-distance relationship starts to fizzle.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "A Bear and a Bladder Infection," were just released recently, and they show Christy talking with her mom Bonnie (Allison Janney) in the kitchen of their shared apartment.

Apparently, Christy's romantic long-distance relationship has come to an end, and she is now distraught over the situation. Bonnie attempts to console her daughter by giving her a hug. However, this is not without any witty remark as she is known to be rather feisty. Christy thinks for a moment and realizes that she has a good friend who was a former fling. She decides to meet up with him in a coffeehouse to seek some company.

Christy meets Cooper (Michael Arangano) to have coffee and immediately strikes up a conversation. It appears that she wants to get back with him to fill the void that was left by her past long-distance affair. Cooper doesn't appear to be too excited to see her, but Christy will try to rekindle their romance nonetheless.

In the meantime, Bonnie tries to give up on coffee which has become a concerning addiction to her. It has come to a point where she drinks coffee straight out of the pot.

In the last episode, Bonnie's brother Ray (Leonard Roberts) got jailed again for using cocaine. She had to bail him out, but this time, she refused to let him stay in her house because she wanted to teach him a lesson by taking responsibility for his actions. Ray was hurt but eventually realized that she was right.

"Mom" season 5 episode 10 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
