Fans of the sandbox game "Minecraft" are expecting a new update to the "Minecraft: Story Mode" title before the year ends since developer Telltale Games released a previous expansion for the game in record time. The developer did not disappoint, as hardcore players can expect the fourth episode to roll out in the weeks to come.

According to the developer's recent tweet, the fourth adventure that is set in the "Minecraft" world "has wrapped and will launch THIS MONTH!" While there were only rumors on when the specific release date for episode four will be, Video Games Blogger reported that "Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode Four" is expected to appear in two weeks' time, on Dec. 22.

The industry follower also published the synopsis for the fourth episode: "Jesse and his/her friends are faced with a devastating defeat and our heroes will have to search deep within themselves in order to rise above tragedy, heal broken friendships, untangle bitter rivalries, and find the strength to make one last stand against the storm."

As with previous episodes, the fourth installment will also be composed of chapters, and "Episode Four," dubbed "A Block and a Hard Place," will be composed of six interlocked adventure chapters.

After the fourth episode, season one of "Minecraft: Story Mode" will close with the fifth one, "Order Up!" However, the finale will not be too son, as iDigitalTimes stated that the entire first season of the title won't be completed until next year, when "Episode Five" rolls out sometime in 2016.

"Minecraft: Story Mode" is a game title with a series of episodes with interlocked adventures set in the "Minecraft" world. Players must save the world by making quick decisions in different quicktime events happening in featured locations around the "Minecraft" world.
