MIC-I to release his highly anticipated album, The Journey

The uprising gospel sensation Mic-I highlights the process in which God takes us through to refine us from rough diamonds covered in dust to one’s shining aloud to reflect his glory with The Journey.

Releasing October 23 on Inspired Music Records (IMR). Combined with the musically masterful and creative energy yet to be unveiled to the listener, the album also reveals collaborations with Vigil N ,Candice Wilks, Tasha N and Simone, Charlie Crypton K, and Tambo Silavwe.

As a Christian rapper, composer, vocal arranger, Mic-I is also known for his work as a great collaborator, drawing out the best from all those around him.

The Journey was produced by some of the gospel industry’s most talented and profound music producers ranging from American respected producer T-Stone whose credits include Trip Lee, LeCrae, Da Truth, Tedashii and more, UK based producer Nash Richards a pioneer in his field (Elite Status music) as well as UK based Nick Stez a well respected producer with a touch of perfection. The listener is guaranteed a diverse sound infusing praise and worship with contemporary sound and delivery, which will captivate the listener.

Mic-I creates music that breaks down barriers and defies categorisation by writing music that is relevant regardless of the type of beat it is whether rap, rock, pop, worship as long as it goes with the message being put across to the listener and is the right beat for the portraying the message. Mic-I also uses his own multi-cultural upbringing as a reference point with a desire to draw people of all races, ages and cultures together.

Mic-I attends Milestone Covenant Ministries (MCM) regularly under pastor Jaimie and Nyarai Garande, and also ministers all around the UK and hopes to take his music ministry worldwide to spread the word of God.

His album launch party is also on October 23 at Park Plaza Hotel in Nottingham city centre.

Doors open at 6:30pm and entrance fee is £6.00, including a free album copy on the day.
