Manny Pacquiao next fight with Floyd Mayweather? Mayweather wishy-washy about it

Floyd Mayweather Jr. added another win to his boxing career statistics last Saturday by beating Marcos Maidana via unanimous decision. And every time Mayweather wins, there's always the question of when will he be fighting Manny Pacquiao. It's actually the same thing when the "Pacman" wins a bout, too.

The fact is, the world is waiting for these two excellent fighters to square off in the boxing ring. It's been a year of waiting but nothing has come to fruition. Not to mention, Pacquiao's contract with TopRank has made the super-bout less likely to happen.

Reporters took the chance to ask Mayweather about Pacquiao after he grabbed his win in his last fight. After all, he did promise a big surprise in 2015 for the fans. Could it be a fight with Pacquiao?

"I got to go back and talk to my team, I'm not ducking or dodging no opponent," Mayweather said minutes after he won. "If a Pacquiao fight presents itself, let's make it happen."

But Mayweather may have just be in the heat of the moment when he said those words.

Hours after saying that he was open to making the super fight happen, reporters followed it up with "Money" on Sunday morning and he had a different answer... or more of a no answer this time around.

The reporter asked "Floyd, so are you now trying to fight Pacquiao?"

Mayweather answered, "We had a tremendous show tonight. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that we did good numbers. I want to thank everybody that tuned in and bought on pay-per-view, and everybody who covered this fight. Without you guys, Floyd Mayweather wouldn't be where he is today, so I'm very, very grateful."

Mayweather completely ignored the question. So, what should the fans take from it? By the looks of things, Mayweather is still pretty unsure if he wants to fight Pacquiao. If he does, then this fight could have already been planned and negotiated long ago.
