America will be celebrating its 239th birthday on July 4, 2015 with dazzling fireworks displays, parades and other Independence Day events across the country.

This year's NBC will be hosting it's annual 'Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular' with performances from Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Flo Rida and Meghan Trainor.

This year's show will be hosted by Willie Geist and Tamron Hall and include over 50,000 pyrotechnic shells and effects during a 25-minute synchronized fireworks display.

NBC will be airing the show on Saturday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. A live stream of the event and fireworks can be seen here at NBC.

Thousands will be flocking to New York City to watch Macy's annual 4th of July fireworks along the East River. This year's musical score for the fireworks celebration will feature both classic and patriotic favorites, including new songs that were written specifically for the show.

The fireworks will be taking place from two locations this year. A double barge will be just south of Brooklyn Bridge, while four additional barges will be placed between East 23rd and East 42nd Streets. The additional barges four will allow good viewing for spectators in Brooklyn, Long Island City and Midtown East.

For those lucky enough to be in New York City to watch the show, the best public viewing spots will be from Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and along the east side of Lower Manhattan.

Public viewing sections for those who will be viewing from Manhattan will be the elevated portions of FDR drive.
