London judge orders girl separated from parents who exposed her to ISIS violence

A Muslim couple residing in London was recently found to have subjected their 16-year-old daughter to psychological and emotional harm by trying to radicalise her with the extremist propaganda of the jihadist Islamic State.

This prompted a family court judge in London to order that the teenage girl, who was not identified due to her age, be removed from her home of her "deceitful parents," a Fox News report said.

The Family Division of the High Court said the ""intelligent, educated and ambitious" teenager was "fully radicalised" and exposed to unimaginable pictures promoting the Muslim extremist group, including photos of beheadings.

"The violation contemplated here is not of the body but it is of the mind. It is every bit as insidious—and I do not say that lightly—as it involves harm of a similar magnitude," Justice Anthony Hayden of the High Court Family Division said.

The judge even said that what the parents did to the schoolgirl was similar to sexual abuse.

"I can see no way in which her psychological, emotional and intellectual integrity can be protected by her remaining in this household. The farrago of sophisticated dishonesty of the parents makes this entirely unsustainable," Hayden added.

The judge further said that the teenage girl was exposed to terrorist-linked material, including documents such as "44 Ways to Support Jihad." She was also taught how to make bombs and weapons, and how to avoid airport security.

The court further said that the girl—who even attempted to travel to Syria to become a "jihadi bride" due to pressure from her parents—was forced to read news reports of men getting ready for executions and beheadings by the ISIS.
