Lifewords Launches Free Easter Resource for Churches

|TOP|Lifewords has launched a free movie for churches in the run up to Easter. ‘The Story’ is a new flash movie that gives narration to the events leading up to the crucifixion and Jesus’ death.

The new initiative has been designed specifically for churches as part of their Easter worship events, and their outreach at this important time for churches.

The movie operates as a short animation that aims to present both the human and the divine aspects of Jesus’ story. The animation has been produced in black and white to offer a more striking style.

Lifewords testify that the film is part of its “mission to help people engage with the Bible’s story in fresh ways.”

|AD|Special web-pages have been set up for the initiative, which includes liturgy that can be used alongside the films to express the darkness and sorrow of Good Friday.

Lifewords, which used to be called ‘Scripture Gift Mission’ until September 2005, is also offering churches the opportunity to order ‘The Story’ in a booklet form, which also aims to re-tell the Easter story in both divine and human perspectives.

Lifewords state: “Using graphics that complement the film, The Story booklet is perfect for follow-up to Easter events.”

The film can be downloaded for free by clicking www.lifewords.info/easter

To order copies of the booklet, visit www.lifewords.info/uk to order online.
