Lenovo introduced two new laptops at the ongoing 2016 Consumer Electronics Show — the Thinkpad 13 and Thinkpad X1 Yoga.

The Thinkpad 13 comes in two versions, Windows and Chrome OS. Both laptop models will carry Intel Core i5 processors and will have up to 16 GB of RAM. The devices will also offer up to 512 GB of internal storage, media outlets gathered.

The Lenovo laptops may carry the same specs inside, but the two versions differ on the outside. The Windows model has the distinct red TrackPoint on the keyboard, while Chrome OS' Thinkpad 13 has a simple keyboard design.

According to The Verge, the pointing stick cannot be present in the Chrome OS model because Google is strict when it comes to the hardware rules for their Chromebooks.

Both models also differ when it comes to their ports. The Windows Thinkpad 13 is HDMI-capable, and has three USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C port. In contrast, the Chrome OS model only has one USB port but carries two Type-C ports.

As for the pricing and release date, the Windows model will be available in April for $449 and the Chrome OS model will come much later in June with a $399 price tag.

Meanwhile, also ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show, Lenovo introduced the Thinkpad Yoga X1, which is a whole new addition to the Yoga lineup, since it comes with an option of an OLED display.

The base tablet has a 1920x1080 IPS LCD display and an option of 2560x1440 IPS LCD. But what's more striking with this new Thinkpad Yoga is that it is also available with a Samsung OLED 2560x1440 display.

The 12-inch Thinkpad Yoga X1 can be configured to carry a Core i7 chipset and have up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD storage space. The convertible tablet is weighed at 1.27 kilograms and measured at 16.7 millimeters in thickness.

The X1 Yoga will be available starting this month with a base price of $1449. The OLED display models will start shipping sometime in April, but the pricing has yet to be announced.
