Lenovo K4 Note news: Lenovo teases flagship has a 'killer display'

The Lenovo K3 Note. Reportedly, its successor will be launched on January 5.

Although Lenovo has yet to officially announce the next installment in its K Note series, more and more reports point out that the upcoming K4 Note will be launched very soon.

In a tweet by Lenovo India, the company teased its fans about the new flagship, saying, "When is a display more than just a sum of its pixels? Get ready to thrill your senses with the K4 Note."

Although there is no mention of what the feature for the display will be, PC-Tablet said that according to sources, the K4 Note will launch with a 5.5-inch screen, Full HD display, and is protected by Corning Glass.

The industry follower also added that contrary to what is believed and what Lenovo has been telling its fans, the upcoming flagship will ship out with 4 GB of RAM. The report mentioned that the details were confirmed by "an internal source at Lenovo who doesn't wish to be identified."

This is contrary to what observers such as GSM Arena have been expecting. The industry follower said that Lenovo India itself mentioned the K4 Note to be shipping with 3 GB of RAM. However, observers agreed on the K4 Note's other confirmed features, such as the K4 Note launching with a metal unibody design, a fingerprint scanner on the back, and near field communications (NFC) feature.

Other specs of the device include a 13-MP main camera and an 8-MP selfie shooter, expandable storage up to 200 GB via microSD, and a 3,100-mAh battery.

Meanwhile, although Lenovo just keeps on teasing the new flagship without confirming a release date yet, speculations place the K4 Note to be appearing on Jan 5. Another GSM Arena report said that one indication of the K4 Note nearing its release date is that Lenovo already sent out invites for the launch, to be held in New Delhi.
