Kingsway signs deal with Word Distribution

Kingsway is delighted to announce the signing of an exclusive deal with the Nashville-based Word Distribution.

Word’s vision is to foster artistic expression which from a Christian world view, edifies, inspires and “pushes back the darkness” that prevails in modern culture.

Jonathan Brown, Business Development Director at Kingsway says: “Word Distribution has a great reputation for resourcing the church with some innovative, inspirational product, and we are delighted to be able to join them in their mission. On a personal note, I started my early years in Christian music working with the Word team and it is with great excitement that we continue to serve them in their long heritage in seeing lives transformed through their artistry and songs.”

In addition to the UK, Kingsway will be distributing Word across Europe, including in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Greece.

Word’s back catalogue is now available and in September Kingsway are excited to release some brand new titles into the marketplace to include Wow Worship, Blessed And Cursed CD & DVD, the new album from Robert Randolph, who recently performed at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as the latest album from Natalie Grant.

“We are so pleased to have Kingsway representing Word-distributed products in the UK and various European countries,” states Tim Marshall, SVP of Sales and Operations for Word Distribution.

“Jonathan and his team are some of the best at getting Christian products into the hands of people all over the world. We could not be more pleased with our new association with this fine company.”

Word Distribution, a division of Word Entertainment, a Warner/Curb company, represents some of Christian music’s top performers, including award-winning artists Aaron Shust, Selah, NEEDTOBREATHE, BarlowGirl, Big Daddy Weave, Mark Schultz, Natalie Grant, Point Of Grace and Francesca Battistelli. The company represents Word Records, Curb Records, Fervent Records, in:ciite Creative Group, Tyscot and others internationally.
