Katelyn Tarver Headlines Radio Disney Incubator Tour

American Idol Junior pop star Katelyn Tarver will embark on the Radio Disney Incubator Tour this spring, in support of her debut album Wonderful Crazy.

|PIC1|The CD features songs written and produced by Mattias Gustafsson (Backstreet Boys) and Kevin Savigar (Josh Gracin, Rod Stewart), as well as popular Christian singer/songwriter Scott Krippayne.

The Radio Disney Incubator Tour will run throughout the U.S. and wrap up April 7th in Hartford, Connecticut. Additional cities already confirmed include Los Angeles, Tampa, Charlotte, Detroit and Cleveland. Opening for Katelyn Tarver in each city will be new Universal/Motown recording artist Elijah Harris.

Sixteen year-old Katelyn was a finalist on the hit FOX TV series American Idol Juniors, performing to an audience of over 35 million people and earning praise from celebrity judges like Deborah Gibson, Gladys Knight, Brian McKnight and host Ryan Seacrest. Since the series, Katelyn has been featured in a variety of print ads and television commercials including Conair and VH1, and can be seen as “Barbie” in the upcoming feature film The Barbie Diaries based on the popular Mattel toy. Prior to teaming with Radio Disney, Katelyn co-headlined the 2005 Camplified Tour with Epic Records recording artist Nikki Flores, and she's performed at venues across the country with such artists as Jesse McCartney, Hope Partlow, Jeff Foxworthy, Skye Sweetham and American Idol alumni Bo Bice and Kimberly Locke.

Recent media highlights include TV appearances on CBS News This Morning, At Home Live! and a guest-hosting appearance on JCTV’s Xtreme Video Zone. Katelyn is also featured in the current issues of BOP Magazine, Impact 210 and American Cheerleader. A music video for "Wonderful Crazy" was shot last month in New York, and will be released in March.

Katelyn is represented by Wilhelmina Modeling Agency (New York), Abrams Artist Management and Val's Artist Management for print, on-camera and commercial vocal representation. Her debut CD Wonderful Crazy was released November 8, 2005 by TC Music, with distribution through Sumthing Distribution and major one-stops including Alliance and Baker & Taylor.
