Kensington Palace has announced that the royal baby, who will be fifth-in-line to the throne is due to arrive on April 2018.
Barely a month ago, Kensington Palace also confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child and that the Duchess, formerly known as Kate Middleton, was to take a six-week off from her royal duties as she was having a hard time conceiving on her first trimester. It was also reported that Her Royal Highness Kate was struck down by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition common to pregnant women who are usually in four to six weeks of their first term.
However, Duchess Kate's condition have seemed to improve as she was able to make three public appearnces since her sick leave. First was on Oct. 10 in Buckingham Palace as the royal couple, William and Kate, attended an event for World Mental Health Day; second was on Oct. 16 when she and William attended a charity forum at Paddington Station — Duchess Kate was even photographed dancing with the Paddington Bear — and just recently, Oct. 18, the future Queen of England was spotted at the graduation ceremony of Coach Core apprentices at West Ham United's London Stadium.
Meanwhile, rumor had it that Kate, apparently, wanted to lessen her royal duties and focus more on her and Prince William's growing family. This allegedly brought feud to the royal family as The Queen did not approve of it. However, this has been completely debunked by a royal insider saying the Duchess of Cambridge has been very responsible of the royal duties and has only taken some time off because of her sensitive pregnancy condition.
The Duchess of Cambridge is now on her second trimester and is expected to announce the gender of Prince George and Prince Charlotte's new sibling two months from now.
