Even as the fans are already anticipating the appearance of Superman (Henry Cavill) in the upcoming DC superhero film "Justice League," Warner Bros. is seemingly trying their best to conceal his participation. In fact, the latest poster for the 2017 comic book adaptation still does not feature the Man of Steel.

As reported by Polygon, Warner Bros. has continued their marketing strategy for "Justice League" by not including Superman in the featured roster of DC comic book characters. The new "Justice League" 2017 poster gathers all the superheroes that were already confirmed to appear in the movie, namely Wonder Woman/Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck), The Flash/Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). It is also worth noting that Cavill's name is still not listed in the latest poster as a cast member, a telling sign that the actor, as well as his character has nothing to do with the movie.

However, the latest "Justice League" 2017 poster may have sneaked in a clue that Superman will have a surprising appearance in the movie. Looking at the bottom of the poster, the official tagline of the movie "You can't save the world alone" includes the famous Kryptonian symbol "S." Some fans believe that Warner Bros. may have started to provide true hints that Superman will join the rest of the team to fight the new threat to Earth.

Aside from the suspicious Superman clue in the "Justice League" 2017 poster, the recent trailer for the movie showed another proof that Cavill's character will be present in the movie – whether the appearance will be a major one or just a short flashback. The trailer revealed a scene where Lois Lane (Amy Adams) had a dream of Clark Kent. For now, there is a possibility that Superman and his human alter-ego Clark Kent will remain dead in "Justice League," but it does not mean that the character will not be shown in a few minor scenes, according to Collider.

Prior to the marketing period for "Justice League" 2017, fans have already caught that Superman will make a grand comeback in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). To recall in the final scenes of "Batman v Superman," Superman was killed in the battle against Doomsday. Later on in his supposed burial, a scene of soil particles rising up from the coffin was shown briefly before the screen went black.

"Justice League" will premiere in the U.S. on Nov. 17.
