19 Kids and Counting's Jill Duggar-Dillard and husband Derick have a new goal for 2015: to read the Scriptures from cover to cover.

The devout Christian couple, who are following a chronological Bible reading plan, started with the first three chapters of Genesis on January 1 and aim to reach the last chapters of Revelation on December 31, according to the Duggar Family Blog.

Two weeks ago, Derick shared with his nearly 400,000 Instagram followers his and Jill's plan.

He posted on the photo and video-sharing platform Job 14:1–2, which reads, "Man who is born of a woman is few of days and full of trouble. He comes out like a flower and withers; he flees like a shadow and continues not."

The photo comes with the caption: "Jill and I are reading through the Bible chronologically this year and read this verse in Job 14 today.

"As the first week of 2015 is now behind us (that's nearly 2%), the year is already flying by. Are you ready for when your time comes? If not, consider reading the book of John, in the Bible."

The relatively newlywed and expectant father also shared Isaiah 43:16–20 in a prior Instagram post in which he had underlined the passages: "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"

To go with the biblical verses, Derick wrote: "In 2014 I moved back to the USA, started a new job, got engaged, got married, and found out we're expecting our firstborn son. Here's to following Jesus in 2015!"

Jill and Derick were married on June 21 last year at Cross Church in the Duggars' hometown of Springdale, Arkansas.

Eight weeks after the huge wedding, which was attended by more than 1,000 guests according to the Daily Mail, the pair announced that they are expecting a new addition to their young family. They are expecting a baby boy, who is due out in March.

Jill, who regularly posts pictures of her baby bump with a note that shows how far she is along, said that she and Derick "want to leave it up to God" to see how many children they have, "whether it's two or 20."
