The Duggar girls from "19 Kids and Counting" write the sweetest greetings during their husbands' birthdays. For Derick Dillard's birthday this March, his wife Jill Duggar thanked him for the love and care he has shown her and their son Israel David.

On her Instagram account (@jillmdillard), Jill posted a black and white kissing selfie and wrote, "Since I'm on wifi today...I wanna say happy birthday to the most amazing man in the whole world, my hubby! I love you more than you know @derickdillard."

Jill praised Dillard for being such a "caring and thoughtful and an amazing dad," and she also thanked him "for the late night talks, a shoulder to cry on, painting my nails, and helping with the little things like late night diaper changes, dishes and laundry at just the right times!"

"I love watching Israel's face light up when he sees you and watching the way you interact with him. He loves playing fútbol [football] with his papa! You're my knight in shining armor and the [love] of my life! I'm blessed beyond measure! I love you and Israel does too!" she continued. "I pray every year you'll be closer to Jesus than the year before!"

The Dillards are continuing their missionary work in Central America, and Derick occasionally shares updates about their accomplishments on their blog Dillard Family.

"A couple [of] times a week we make home visits where we visit people in the community who may or may not be Christians," Derick wrote last February. "During our home visits, we usually take along one of the local Christians. Sometimes we visit someone who is ill, or someone who has just lost a family member, or a family who wants to know more about the church, or simply those who we may want to get to know better. We've also been able to bless some of these people with food and personal hygiene items."
