|PIC1|Eighteen year-old Jessie Daniels has recently been introduced to Radio Disney Incubator, the on-air and online program that features fresh, relevant musical acts under the age of 21. Fans are able to listen and vote for their favourite Incubator songs online as well as view photos, read bios and blogs from spotlight artists past and present. Daniels’ current hit single, “The Noise” is featured on the site. Fans can now request “The Noise” on Radio Disney stations in their area.
“I can’t even express how excited I am to be chosen as one of Radio Disney’s Incubator artists,” says Daniels. “It means so much to me that kids are hearing positive music and embracing who I am as an artist. Radio Disney has been a BIG help in the launch of my career. I appreciate everything they have done so far and look forward to continued work with such an awesome team!”
The Christian teen will release her self-titled debut label project on June 6. Featuring 12 songs all co-written by Daniels, the album is fun and catchy with a pop-rock flare. Its debut radio single “The Noise,” reached Top 10 on Radio & Records Christian Hit Radio chart in only five weeks and currently reigns at No. 7 with upward momentum. Jessie will be touring in support of her
release this spring and summer.
Jessie Daniels hails from Long Island, N.Y. An actress since the age of eight, Daniels has appeared in multiple independent films as well as commercials for MTV and Lifetime. In 2003, she began writing and recording her first music project, a 6-song EP that released via her Web site. The EP garnered Daniels national attention, and she was asked to perform at Radio Disney concert events nationwide.
Additional dates followed with artists including Seventh Day Slumber, Kutless, Paul Wright, and Across the Sky, among others. Daniels has been featured by more that 60 media outlets and is endorsed by Transitions Optical and Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.
