Jeff Lucas Launches New Christian Internet TV

|TOP|Leading Christian author and speaker Jeff Lucas has hosted the launch of a new internet television channel at the Christian Resources Exhibition at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey this week.

The Christian channel, run by the Premier Group, will offer viewers regular news, current affairs as well as teachings.

Lucas said, “I am really delighted about the launch of Premier.tv. So often Christians tend to lag behind the rest of the world when it comes to innovation, particularly technology. Here we are for once on the cutting edge with Premier's broadband on demand television channel.”

David Heron, Premier Media Group’s Chairman said, “Premier continues to grow, by serving the Church through their new internet channel Premier.tv. Christians and seekers across the world can reach Premier.tv through their computers and access hours of the finest teachings and ministry from Christian leaders across the world.”|AD|

Live news bulletins will be available twice a day covering news and information relevant to the Christian community.

Via the internet TV channel viewers will be able to select and watch programmes they want to watch at any time.

Heron continued, “Whether it's Sunday morning or Monday night, the same high quality programmes will be available for our viewers. It truly is TV on demand!”

A custom-built television studio has been installed over the past year at Premier’s London office as the group looks to make the jump into internet television.

Premier also tell, “Internet TV is becoming increasingly popular, due in part to a rise in broadband usage across the UK. Industry experts estimate 40% of households already use broadband, with the figures expected to grow to 60% by the end of 2007.”
