Jay-Z news: '4:44' rapper ends feud with Jaz-O and gives heartfelt shout-out to Kanye West

After years of not being able to see eye-to-eye, Grammy Awards winner Jay-Z and Brooklyn rapper Jaz-O ended their beef during Jay-Z's "4:44" tour in Chicago. Jaz-O and Jay-Z were spotted backstage after the latter finished his live performance in Chicago last Tuesday. Not only that, "The Story of O.J." rapper also gave a heartfelt message for fellow artist Kanye West.

Rapper and Jay-Z'S good friend Vegas posted a picture of Jay-Z with Jaz-O and music producer No I.D. on Instagram. Vegas captioned that photo with, "Tonight going to be a special night Chitown. Few legends in the building."

Several rapper fans were delighted to hear the news and quickly expressed their joy through social media.

Jay and Jaz were a rapper tandem back in the 1990s. Jay-Z and Jaz-O were responsible for the hit tracks "The Originator" and "Hawaiian Sophie." Jaz also helped Jay-Z produce his debut album "Reasonable Doubt." The duo then collaborated on the song with the same title of the album with fellow rapper Sauce Money.

The two had their falling-out in the early 2000s when Jay-Z co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records. Jaz-O refused to sign with the label and the two had been in conflict ever since. Jaz released a few songs to target Jay-Z like the diss track "It's Ova."

Several fans and publications indicated that Jay's concert in Chicago was full of forgiveness and love. Jay-Z played West's hit song "Can't Tell me Nothing" to the crowd and followed it up with a message. "Shout out Kanye West. Peace and Love," Jay-Z said. The rapper also mentioned other rappers in his shout-out like Chance the Rapper and No I.D.

Jay-Z is still in the middle of his "4:44" tour. The rapper will soon hit several stages in the United States and Canada in the coming days.
