Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet news: Longtime couple secretly wed last month

American actor, Jason Momoa and longtime girlfriend and fellow actor, Lisa Bonet, finally got married. The couple have officially committed to one another after more than a decade of being together. How the two were able to keep the intimate ceremony a secret for so long is still a mystery.

In a report by Entertainment Tonight, the wedding took place at their own house at Topanga, California. As it turns out, the newlyweds decided to keep the ceremony secret. According to She Knows, the news came as a shock to most people, especially since something like this is generally expected to be public knowledge.

International Business Times stated that Momoa and Bonet availed of a marriage license on Oct. 2, which was a week before the ceremony. The wedding may have been an intimate one, but the party that followed saw numerous people celebrating the special event. A lot of the guests had even flown in just to be part of the momentous occasion. Recently wed celebrity couple, Michael Fassbender and Alivia Vikander, were in attendance. Zoe Kravitz, Lisa Bonet's daughter with ex-partner Lenny Kravitz, was also spotted at the wedding to show her support for her mother's newfound love.

An insider has revealed that Momoa kept a close relationship with his co-workers, even in his past projects. Momoa seems to be a genuinely nice and likeable fellow, which would explain the throng of guests who came to attend the after-wedding party.

Momoa became famous for his role as the fierce ruler of the Dothraki, Kal Drogo in the HBO hit television show "Game of Thrones." Momoa officially met Bonet in 2005, but Momoa admitted to having "stalked" Bonet since watching her on "The Cosby Show."

Momoa and Bonet have two children, Lola, who is now 10 years old, and Nakoa-Wolf, who is eight.
