19 Kids and Counting star Jana Duggar, the eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle reportedly has plans of branching out from the Duggar family and making a life of her own.

An insider told OK! Magazine that Jana is really serious about pursuing her studies. "This is probably the first time Jana has really stuck up for herself," the source said.

"Jana just turned 25, so she knows she needs to get on with her education if she doesn't want to be stuck at her mom and dad's house in Arkansas forever. She told her parents that she was looking at Christian colleges and would be applying soon," the source added.

However, Jim Bob is opposing the idea and does not like the idea of his eldest daughter moving out of the house.

The same source alleged that Jana has helped the Duggar household by doing chores and taking care of her younger siblings, but she does not want to be taking on the babysitter role for the rest of her life.

Any romantic prospects are also not in Jana's future yet, since she is more concerned about her education than her love life. She was previously linked to former National Football League (NFL) player Tim Tebow after their parents were spotted together at a charity event.

Her parents posted a photo with Tebow's parents on the Duggar Facebook page and wrote, "We enjoyed hearing Pam Tebow share tonight at the Loving Choices crisis pregnancy centre banquet! A great lady and a great cause!"

Duggar fans excitedly came to the conclusion that their parents met up in order to discuss their children's dating life. And while the well-known Christian athlete would definitely be a welcome addition to the Duggar family, it would be difficult for the two to date since Tebow's rep confirmed that Tim and Jana "have never even met."
