Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans live stream tonight (NFL Network): Watch NFL Thursday Night Football 2016 online

NFL Thursday Night Football will see the Jacksonville Jaguars go on the road to take on the Tennessee Titans tonight in what is an important game for both teams as Week 8 of the regular season gets underway. Tonight's big game has a scheduled start time of 8.25 p.m. ET and takes place from LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee. The game can be watched on TV on the NFL network or online through live stream via the link below.

This all AFC South match up will see the Titans and Jaguars going head to head knowing that the winner could have the chance to push on and stay relevant in the race for the postseason.

The AFC South division is extremely tight with three of the four teams having negative records coming into Week 8, and even the Houston Texans at the top of the table are only just ahead with a 4-3 record.

The Titans are tied for second spot along with the Indianapolis Colts, with both teams on 3-4, and the Jaguars are just behind on 2-4. But the Jaguars will know a win tonight puts them right back in the running, and if victory here can spark them into a small run of wins they could be competing.

The Jaguars have relied heavily on the pass this season so far, with 247.3 yards per game coming in the air out of their average total yards of 324.

The Titans have very much been the opposite, and are averaging 143.4 yards on the ground compared to the Jaguars' paltry 76.7 yards per game on rush.

That should make for an intriguing match up between two teams relying on very different tactics to get where they are this season.

The Jaguars will be hoping Blake Bortles can be in form tonight. So far this season he is 141 of 236 throws for 1,567 yards and nine touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Titans' Marcus Mariota is 139 of 226 attempts for 1,604 yards and 12 touchdowns.

But the Jaguars will have a really tough time tonight if they cannot contain DeMarco Murray, who has gone 633 yards on 139 carries, for an average gain of 4.6 yards and five touchdowns.

The Jaguars' top rusher is T.J. Yeldon who has records only about 30% of the yards of Murray, with 200 yards on 60 carries and one touchdown.

The Titans will be hoping to bounce back with a win here tonight after last week's disappointing loss to the Indianapolis Colts. That result dragged back the Titans to a negative record and allowed the Colts to tie with them on 3-4. That game was certainly a lost opportunity for the Titans to impose themselves on the AFC South, and they will need to get things back on track tonight.

Meanwhile, last week the Jaguars were handily defeated by the Oakland Raiders 33-16. The Jaguars were rarely in the game and the Raiders coasted to an easy victory to infect a fourth defeat of the season on the Jaguars.
