Jaci Valasquez's Very Own Record Label, Apostrophe Records

According to Billboard biz, Word recording artist Jaci Valasquez is arranging to launch her own record label, Apostrophe Records. Currently, negotiations of distribution are being made for the new endeavor.

Already, Michael Cook, the singer/songwriter first signed with Apostrophe Records is working towards the release of his debut CD this fall, produced by Petra Orta, a former Petra member.

Key positions will be filled by Valasquez?family and music-industry associates for the new label. She, herself, will take on the role as CEO, her mother, Diana Stancil, as the Apostrophe’s CFO, and her brother, Dion Lopez, as VP and A&R.

Velasquez will serve as CEO of the label and has tapped family and music-industry associates for key roles. Her mother, Diana Stancil, will be Apostrophe's CFO, and Velasquez's brother, Dion Lopez, will be VP of A&R. Marketing will be handled by former Word executive Linda Klosterman.

As a prominent Christian female vocalist who has won a number of awards, her music career journey began when she first signed with Word Records at the age 15. Also in the Latin community, she gained much recognition in last year’s film, Chasing Papi. Currently, she is negotiating a Latin music deal. Her Christian music career will continue on with Word records. Her heartfelt tunes will continue to melt the hearts of people as her career takes an advance.
