iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak release date news: PanGu finally issues jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2 to 9.3.3

There is a bit of good news for Apple fans at the start of the week, as jailbreak dev team Pangu finally releases the tool for a new jailbreak version, covering iOS 9.2 to 9.3.3.

However, it seems that the new tool is still in its early stages. As noted by Forbes, the jailbreak tool is only available in Chinese as of the moment, although an English version is expected to come out anytime soon. The file is already up and listed on the website. The industry follower also observed that the new jailbreak version is a semi-tethered one, which is a deviation from the previous iteration. The other jailbreak versions are in full untethered version, which means that users only have to download and install the jailbreak on their devices once. With a tethered version, the new iOS jailbreak for 9.2-9.3.3 means that users will only enjoy the jailbreak versions as long as the device is in operation. When the Apple iPhone or iPad is turned off, or if the battery runs out, users will have to jailbreak the device again.

A jailbreak version for the current iOS is much anticipated by fans. Although the official platform is consistently updated, there are restrictions for users. With a jailbreak iPhone or iPad, the owner can readily check out and manage the iOS, even deleting bloatware apps, or installing third-party ones. However, the last jailbreak version is for iOS 9.1, and fans have been waiting for a new jailbreak version for some time now.

Previous rumors have said that Pangu and other jailbreak teams are foregoing iOS 9.3 in favor of iOS 10, and there are reports that the delay for a new jailbreak iOS stems from difficulties in breaching iOS 9.2. With the new jailbreak from Pangu already out, this means that users need not have to wait long for a full, working version of another iOS jailbreak to be released.
