iOS 8.4 release date: iOS 8.3 Jailbreak delay due to new Apple OS launch?

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus, running on iOS 8 Apple

With no sign of an iOS 8.3 jailbreak to date, it looks like that all hopes for such will be delayed a whole lot more.

Especially with rumors circling that the iOS8.4 could be out by this week, the new features that the latest iOS brings may make it harder (if not impossible) to jailbreak the upcoming iOS. Of course once applied, expect previous iOS versions to be affected as well.

iOS 8.4 will bring a ton of features such as a revamped Music app but the kicker here is the fact that the new Apple OS has reportedly addressed security and vulnerability issues which should be bad news for jailbreak developers.

Though it remains to be seen how enhanced the new iOS will have, folks awaiting a jailbreak may be in for a touch challenge and hence need plenty of time to come up with one.

To recall, there was a reported jailbreak made by Stefan Esser on the iOS 8.4 beta 1. However with that made public, it shoudn't be surprising if the supposed jailbreak had been patched for the upcoming official release of the iOS 8.4. If you missed that article you can find it here.

With that impending predicatment, users could wait as long as the iOS 9 for another jailbreak for their Apple device. A jailbreak for the iOS 8.3 seems highly unlikely at this point since the most likely scenario would have Apple releasing a security patch with the iOS 8.4.

A tweet by MuscleNerd reveals that around 39 security bugs have been patched up, signaling that further ( if any) security flaws could be very well scarce.

This despite claims of various developers such as Pangu and TAIG that an iOS 8.3 jailbreak would be released soon, the coming of the iOS 8.4 could very well quash all these aspirations which may spell doom for folks who patronize the iOS jailbreaking OS for their Apple devices.
