In just a matter of weeks, Apple released the fourth incremental update for the iOS 11, which has introduced many features to make users' mobile experience more interesting. Yet, coupled with new exciting content are numerous bugs that continue to plague most Apple devices, particularly the iPhone 6 handsets. Fortunately, some people reported that the iOS 11.0.3 made some slight improvements.
As reported by Gizbot, many iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S users who already switched to iOS 11 have been waiting patiently for a fix as the app processes in their devices have considerably slowed down. With the iOS 11.0.3 update rolled out, some users had a sigh of relief as their iPhone 6 handsets are now working faster.
Another positive change introduced by the iOS 11.0.3 update to some users is that the system no longer drains the battery within a short period of time. There are also less cases of network connectivity issues among iPhone 6 users. Unfortunately, the iOS 11.0.3 appears to have caused new problems as well, including the frequent crashing of major apps such as Google Chrome, Gmail, and Instagram.
Some users claim that the iOS 11.0.3 made the app time response even longer. There are instances when the basic animations in messages are lagging. Apple has not yet addressed the new problems incorporated with the iOS 11.0.3, but the tech giant seems to be focused on solving the issues reported from the previous iOS 11 incremental updates.
Apple released the iOS 11.0.3 update last week to fix the unresponsive iPhone 6S displays. Although, it was stated that the display issue is rooted from ingenuine parts not supported by Apple. The update also fixed the non-functioning sound and feedback on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Tech Times reported.
The iOS 11 opened up new possibilities on how the user can enjoy their Apple device. The highlight of the firmware version is the first step into augmented reality (AR) via ARKit. However, existing Apple users have experienced more headaches ever since the iOS 11 was launched in September, forcing others to downgrade to older iOS versions. Further complicating the problem is Apple no longer signing the iOS 10.3.3 version, thus current iOS 11 users will have to stick with the firmware version and hope that the issues will be solved by Apple very soon.
