Illuminate your faith with FaithChild

If you’re thinking it’s time for something new, something fresh and something different, then give Faithchild's latest album Illumination a listen.

Ok, so this album has actually been out for a while now but I’m still listening to it. Why? Well, with songs like “I like it”, this is an album that doesn’t concentrate too much on the past but rather looks to the future in the freedom that comes with Christ.

In “Come My Way”, Faithchild sings about relying on God, while “New Day” is a reminder that God journeys into the future together with us – it’s a “new day, new dawn, new you”, he tells us. Well, it doesn’t get any better than that!

Faithchild has being making good music for the last 10 years now and this album demonstrates that maturing process. It really is a stand out album, a testimony with a bit of easy-on-the-ear preaching thrown in against a backdrop of electro pop and dance music. It’s not as explicitly Christian as some Christian rap music out there but it’s still one of the best.

And for an extra treat, the album features top UK gospel rappers Jahaziel, Guvna B and Victizzle. All for God’s glory and the more you listen to it, the more you’re going to enjoy it if you like this kind of music. Give it a try if you haven’t already!
