Yoshihiro Togashi, the creator of the "Hunter x Hunter" series, has put the series on hiatus due to his recurring health concerns. However, the manga creator has recently been sighted attending a public event, and his improved health indicates he will be able to launch "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 soon.

The manga series had been on a long hiatus until chapter 360 launched previously this year. Unfortunately, Togashi had been suffering from recurring back pains and because of this, the manga went on hiatus again. His appearance at a public event now indicates he may be well enough to finish the series to its conclusion.

Artist Hisahi Eguchi posted a photo via Twitter of several manga creators gathering together for the conclusion and fortieth anniversary of the "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo" series, which is also known as the "Kochikame" series.

The photo included Eguchi of the "Stop! Hibari-kun" series, Kyosuke Usuta of the "Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san" series and Yoshihiro Togashi himself among several others. It is pointed out in a report from the iTech Post that Togashi appears healthy and in good physical shape, hinting he may work on the manga soon.

According to Game N Guide, it is widely rumored that Togashi is going to collaborate with his wife, Naoko Takeuchi, in finishing "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 and all future chapters. Takeuchi is known primarily for creating the "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon" manga, which was later adapted into the "Sailor Moon" anime.

With Takeuchi aiding her husband, it is more than likely that "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 will launch sometime in early 2017. It was previously speculated that Togashi may have been searching for other manga creators to continue his work, with him and his wife serving solely as supervisors, but it is now more likely his wife will be directly involved in completing the manga.
