The patch notes for the upcoming update to "Heroes of the Storm" have now been officially revealed.
Arguably the biggest addition included in the newest patch is the new hero Kharazim. Kharazim is the monk who previously appeared in "Diablo III." Kharazim will be a supporting character who will do some of his best work healing or aiding other heroes on the battlefield.
Speaking of battlefield, "Heroes of the Storm" is also getting a new map courtesy of the latest patch, according to Gamespot. The new map, which is known as Infernal Shrines, is a three-lane world ripped right out of "Diablo III." Infernal Shrines has some quirks as well, as players can call bosses to the battlefield to do their dirty work for them.
As of now, Infernal Shrines is already available in the game's Public Test Realm since it will not arrive for "Heroes of the Storm" at the same time as some of the patch's other contents will.
Kharazim is also available in the game's Public Test Realm.
Aside from Kharazim, Rexxar from "Warcraft" and Artanis from "StarCraft" are also scheduled to join the "Heroes of the Storm" roster sometime soon, according to Polygon.
As for the other contents of the latest patch, it contains many of the usual tweaks and bug fixes that are typical to any update. Modifications that players will be preparing for include cooldown times changing for some skills and some attacks getting either stronger or weaker in order to further promote more balanced gameplay inside "Heroes of the Storm."
Players can now also change the AI's level of difficulty inside "Heroes of the Storm." The easiest level will presumably be Beginner, and from there it goes, Recruit, Adept, and Veteran, up until the highest level of difficulty which will likely be Elite.
The upcoming patch, including Infernal Shrines and Kharazim, has not been given an official release date as of yet.
