"Halo" franchise development director Frank O'Connor recently talked about why the latest game from the series will be running at 60 fps and also compared its length to "Halo 4."

O'Connor addressed the queries during a recent panel at Comic-Con, and beginning with the game length of "Halo 5," he indicated that talking about how much time it would take to finish a game would be a weird topic to discuss mainly because people have varied experiences doing so.

O'Connor also said that game elements such as replayability and scale should come into consideration when it came to determining the length of any game, particularly "Halo 5."

In comparison to "Halo 4," O'Connor definitely said that "Halo 5" is the longer game, mainly because of the new co-op mode which allows a single player to go through the main campaign using four different characters who all present their own unique experiences, according to Gamespot.

As for why "Halo 5" is running at 60 fps as opposed to 30 fps, O'Connor said the decision was made solely based on what type of gaming experience players could have. He admitted that though visuals might ultimately have been better by overloading the game at 30 fps, 60 fps is still optimal for gameplay.

In related news. 343 Industries and Microsoft have recently announced their plans to launch a new season of the "Hunt the Truth" series prior to the release of "Halo 5," according to Softpedia.

The new series would be launched right around the fall and is expected to finish just before the official release of the new game.

The first season of the series featured journalist Benjamin Giraud, played by Keegan-Michael Key, as he uncovered more and more personal details about the life of Master Chief. It has not been officially announced if the actor will be returning for the second season.

"Halo 5" will be officially launched on the Xbox One on October 27.
