'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' movie sequel: Al Pacino to play Star Lord's father?

In the blockbuster hit "Guardians of the Galaxy," there's not much information about Star Lord's father. All fans know is that he isn't just human. Well, this might just be one of the plot lines for the sequel, "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

Another question to ask is, if Star Lord's father will be in the sequel, who will play the character? Well, Al Pacino did hint that he wants to be part of the movie, so maybe he will.

During the Venice Film Festival last Aug. 30, Pacino, 74, gave compliments to the movie. According to Deadline, he described the movie as "the most entertaining, inventive, beautiful film."

He even shared the story of how he came to watch the Marvel film. He said, "It was not something I would readily go see, but my kids got me to go, and one has to draw the line at where prejudice starts and where it ends — that was good stuff!"

He shared, "I recognized the ingenious stuff they were doing; the invention, the attractiveness of the way they were performing it. It had Shakespearian feeling to it at times. I was caught up in the big screen, the great sound..."

Deadline then asked him about being part of the sequel, and this is his surprising answer: "I would do anything that I could understand in terms of how I fit in it. And you know, of course if I could fit in it. Anything's possible."

And then ended the interview with a wink while saying, "You know, I did Dick Tracy and I got an Oscar nomination, so come on. I mean, what can I say?"

Director of the movie James Gunn is very happy with Pacino's compliments and, according to IBT, Gunn is a fan of Pacino. So, will Pacino be actually considered as Star Lord's father in the sequel? That's something fans will be rooting for.
