'GTA 6' release date rumored to be June 2017? Game called 'Return to Vice City?'

"Grand Theft Auto V" was released last year, becoming a massive hit in the gaming world. Now, fans of the game are turning their heads to the rumored launch of "Grand Theft Auto VI."

The rumor for the "GTA 6" started when it was announced at E3 that, "GTA 5" will be coming for Xbox One and PS4. Many speculated that "GTA 6" is in the works. At E3, Rockstar didn't give any information about the sequel "Grand Theft Auto VI," but they didn't deny the rumors too.

However, one thing's for sure - the game franchise won't end with "Grand Theft Auto V." President of Rockstar North, Leslie Benzies did reveal to Develop-Online: "We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what 'GTA VI' will be, but we've got some ideas."

"GTA VI" is rumored to go back to Liberty City, which was also the set of "GTA IV." Other rumors state that the next "Grand Theft Auto" game will take place outside the U.S., including Brazil, Paris or London.

Fuse Joplin reported that the launch for "GTA VI" will "most likely" be on June 2017 for the Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. Rumors say it will be called "Return to Vice City." Rockstar has not confirmed any of these rumors yet.

However, in an update about the possible release date for "Grand Theft Auto VI," a Rockstar employee denied the rumor. According to KDramaStars, the Rockstar employee took to Reddit and debunked the rumor that June 2017 will be the release date for "GTA 6." The Rockstar employee further added that Rockstar is working on a different game right now.
