Graham Kendrick Announces Date for New Album

Legendary British artist Graham Kendrick recently announced the date of his highly-anticipated forthcoming album.

The album, which is as yet untitled, is slated to hit stores on 11 November, 2006.

Produced by Julian Kindred (World Service), the new project features songs co-written by prolific artists such as Stu Garrard (Delirious?), Paul Baloche (“Open the Eyes of My Heart”, “Above all”), Tre Sheppard, and Dan Wheeler.

Kendrick has been releasing albums through Fierce! Distribution since his 2001 album What Grace, which was the UK's number 1 best selling praise and worship album of the year, and 2003's Do Something Beautiful.

According to Fierce! Manager Jonathan Brown, Graham's future looks every bit as exciting as his past:

"Everybody knows that Graham Kendrick's a bit of a legend, but working with him over recent years has been a profoundly enriching experience for all of us at Fierce! His insight, integrity and commitment to the church are remarkable, and his passion to support the next generation of worship leaders is inspirational."

Kendrick's most enduring accomplishment is his authorship of the words and music for the song, “Shine, Jesus, Shine”, which is among the most listened songs in contemporary Christian worship worldwide. His other songs have been primarily used by worshippers in Britain.

Kendrick is also a co-founder of March for Jesus, a prayer, praise and proclamation event that became global on 24 June, 1994. Over 12 million people from 177 nations went out to the streets to proclaim their faith in Jesus Christ. He received a Dove Award in 1995 for his international work.
