Google's Software Applications Connecting Church Groups Together

Google Gadgets, seen on desktops, homepages and websites across the world, are being integrated into church software allowing groups to connect more easily through the web.

Church leaders can now connect directly with their members through mini-applications that appear on their desktop, browser and website, and assignments delivered straight to a recipient's computer. Even events can be broadcast across community browsers and search pages.

"Gadgets are the first of a series of small bite-sized delivery methods we plan to offer to deliver content where church members and staff spend their time," commented Hal Campbell, CEO of ACS Technologies.

Now, when people access their Google Personalised homepage, the ACS Google Gadget puts church related information right at their fingertips and encourages them to stay connected with ease. It can also be delivered to Google Desktops and personal websites.

"The Web allows us to expand the boundaries of church communication and makes it possible for increased involvement, better communication and enhanced outreach." continued Hal. Additional ACS Gadgets will be released soon.
