Girl Meets World" season 3 will see a grand reunion with the "Boy Meets World" cast for the finale, and many fans have speculated the series will not be renewed for season 4. Behind-the-scenes drama may also cause cancellation, and the Disney may be considering a spin-off focusing on Ava (Ava Kolker) instead.

M-Magazine reveals that lead actress Rowan Blanchard, who plays Maya, may be having some sort of issue with Uriah Shelton, who plays Maya's uncle. Rumors of a possible feud began on Instagram when fans pointed out that Shelton had been posting anti-feminism statements. Blanchard is known to be an advocate of feminism and women rights, creating a conflict of interests.

In response, Blanchard had posted she would rather not waste time with the issue or with Shelton's statements and beliefs.

The actors are also getting older, and the show is now set in high school, mirroring the original "Boy Meets World" before it was canceled. However, there are rumors that the show might get canceled because of the older cast and a new spin-off series may become the new focus, with Ava as the main character.

Speaking to Celeb Mix, Kolker mentioned the notion of a spin-off centering on Ava and Auggie (August Maturo).

"I think that would be amazing. It would be so great to see them grow up together. They have such great chemistry on TV," she explained. "I am working on a horror movie now, and love to stretch as an actor to see what else I can do. As long as I can continue to work as an actor and grow as a person, I will be happy."

Despite the ongoing rumors, Disney has yet to make any official announcements regarding the future of "Girl Meets World" season 4 and whether or not a spin-off focusing on Ava may be in the works. None of the cast has made any announcements at this point either.

It is more likely that an announcement from Disney or Freeform will be made once the season 3 finale has been released.
