'General Hospital' spoilers, recap: Scott reveals the truth about Ava

In the Thursday episode of "General Hospital," Carly told Sonny that they need to have their son diagnosed. Meanwhile, Michael arrived and was told by Carly that his brother may be bi-polar. However, Michael countered and said that his brother Morgan may just have a bad temper and really bad judgment, and also mentioned how upset Morgan was at the Metro Court the night Silas died.

The episode also showed Ava telling her brother who she really is. She laid out everything, even being at her own memorial. The brother then asked Ava if she had anything to do with Silas' death, which she denied and told her brother she only plans to keep on pretending to be Denise until the evidence against her disappears.

Ava then asked her brother to help her steal the recording; get rid of Sonny; and rule Port Charles together, as she's sure that he's still with the mob.

At the courthouse, Morgan was called to the stand. After he was sworn in, he described his encounter with Franco on the day Silas died. Ric brought out the knife that Franco threatened him with and said that it was also the murder weapon. Morgan said that he didn't come forward earlier because Franco threatened to kill him.

During a recess in court, Franco wondered why his father was letting Morgan get away with the lies. Meanwhile, Kiki asked Morgan why he didn't tell her about this. He said that he didn't want her to worry. The recess ended and Denise was called to the stand.

Meanwhile, more information will be unraveled on "General Hospital" on Friday, Aug. 21. Scott reveals the truth about Ava, as Nina decides to confide in Nathan. In addition, Adeline and Carly talk about their kids' problems; and Sonny and Olivia share suspicions about Julian.

"General Hospital" airs from Monday to Friday at 1 p.m. on ABC.
