Francesca Battistelli announces birth of baby girl

Contemporary singer and multi-Dove Award winning recording artist Francesca Battistelli has given birth to her second child.

A little baby girl, Audrey Jane, was born on Tuesday.

According to Battistelli's website - www.francescamusic.com - Audrey Jane was born at home.

Battistelli announced, "Our sweet Audrey Jane born this morning at home (unexpected)! She is pure perfection!"

After the birth, happy Francesca Battistelli shared, "Matt and I are overjoyed to tell you our baby girl, Audrey Jane Goodwin, is here! Born in the early morning of July 3, Audrey is happy and healthy weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.

"We are so blessed and my heart is so full right now! And I can already tell Eli is going to be a wonderful big brother."

Battistelli thanked everyone for the prayers for her and her family, and for all the kind words and support.

"Each and every note means the world to us," she said.
