Fox Business Republican presidential debate 2016 live stream free: How to watch GOP debate 2016 tonight online

The Fox Business Republican presidential debate takes place on Thursday night and will be the first GOP presidential debate of 2016. An undercard debate too place earlier in the evening, and the main debate will be shown on TV on the Fox Business network from 9 p.m. ET. The debate can also be watched online through free live stream via the link below.

Tonight's debate from Charleston, South Carolina will be the 6th Republican presidential debate, and this time will feature Fox Business Network's anchor and managing editor, Neil Cavuto, as the debate moderator. Joining him will be Anchor and global markets editor Maria Bartiromo.

A previous debate on November 10 saw the two moderators widely praised for their performance. Words such as "professional" and "sober" were used to describe their running of the debate, and was a far cry from the previous CNBC debate in late October, in which the network's moderators led what some labeled a two hour shouting match. In that CNBC debate the network's moderators were condemned roundly for what many perceived as biased questions, and questions that were designed to incite heated arguments rather than consecutive debate.

The Republican National Committee Chairman, Reince Priebus, was especially angry at the way the CNBC debate was run and his party quickly moved to cancel the GOP's debate scheduled for NBC and Telemundo on February 26, 2016.

Tonight the Fox Business Network is expected to stick to what it does best and will focus on business and the economy, and how the candidates plan to boost both for the United States if elected to the White House.

Tonights' Fox Business GOP presidential debate has a scheduled start time of 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox Business network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
