Floyd Mayweather next fight: Marcos Maidana says Floyd Mayweather fights dirty

After much speculation and debate as to who Floyd Mayweather Jr. should fight next, his next fight won't be much different from his last.

On May 3, Mayweather beat Marcos Maidana by majority decision, a very close fight nonetheless.

The boxing match leads to a very early rematch between the two, which will take place September of this year. Maidana has been itching to get his sweet revenge. In an interview with Fight Hype, Maidana shares what he thinks about "Money" and his fighting skills.

"Money fights dirty," Maidana said in the video interview. Maidana accused Mayweather of using dirty tactics in their May fight.

"Maybe he's right. Maybe I am dirty," Maidana said. "But look, if I'm dirty, he's also dirty. I'm gonna do whatever he does to me."

Mayweather walked away with a win and the boxing world was shaken from the ground up. Many believed that Maidana should have won the fight, and this prompted the rematch.

Maidana further elaborated his accusations, saying "He's dirty. When he fights, he uses the elbows. He does that with a lot of opponents, but they don't reciprocate it, so I did it. In this fight, I did it, and I gave it back to him."

To top it all off, Maidana said that Mayweather "is not as good as people think."

Maidana asserted: "I was able to pin him to the ropes and throw a lot of punches, so he's not as difficult as people think, or invincible. He's actually hittable. That's the thing that people don't realize. You can land on him. I made mistakes, I was a little too anxious, but I'm working on correcting them. You can actually land punches on him."

Nevertheless, Maidana said that Mayweather is a good fighter and "he's got a respectable punch. You gotta respect him."
