Ben Cantelon receiving his GMA Canada Covenant Award

Ben Cantelon picked up his first GMA Canada Covenant Award earlier this month.

Cantelon, a native of Canada, is the artist behind popular worship songs like "Saviour of the World" and "Love Came Down".

He is now part of the Worship Central team in London that is helping to equip and resource the next generation of worship leaders in the UK and beyond.

He took away the Covenant Award for Modern Worship Album of the Year for his full-length debut Everything in Colour.

Fellow Canadians The City Harmonic picked up the Praise & Worship Song of the Year Award for their song "I Have A Dream (Feels Like Home)".

It adds to their three Covenant wins from last year - New Artist of the Year, Recorded Song of the Year, and Modern Worship Song of the Year.

The song awards were for their hit breakout track "Manifesto".
