"Final Fantasy XV" will be featuring summons, Chocobos and many other elements that have become familiar tropes throughout the franchise. Developer Square-Enix has also just confirmed that Moogles, the magical creatures that resemble a cross between cats and teddy bears, will also be in the game.

A countdown was featured on the game's official website and now that the counter has hit zero, it reveals that there will be Moogles in the game but not as normally depicted. In "Final Fantasy XV" they won't necessarily be organic, magical creatures, but they would be treated as dolls that count as a "lucky item."

"Take Moogle dolls and goods as your lucky charm to help avoid all kinds of troubles," Square Enix explains in the site's post. "Maybe Moogle will help out when Noctis and his friends are in a tight spot," they went on to say.

It is important to note that this is not the first time Moogles have been depicted as a doll, however. While they mostly appear as organic beings in the franchise, they have appeared as dolls in "Final Fantasy X," where the character Lulu uses a Moogle doll to augment her magic.

The site also announced a competition event that will be held on Twitter, particularly for both the English and Japanese "Final Fantasy XV" Twitter accounts. According to the site, each time the accounts gain a new follower, a new Moogle will be introduced, and once a certain number of followers have been attained, a Moogle reward will be given.

Square-Enix did not divulge the exact number of rewards or what they may be, although a report from Gamespot notes that there may be 7 rewards in total. The report further speculates that one of these rewards may be a "Moogle Movie" of some sorts, although this has yet to be confirmed.

"Final Fantasy XV" launches on the PS4 and Xbox One on Nov. 29.
