Square Enix recently revealed more about what fans can expect from "Final Fantasy XV" in terms of its other gameplay features such as fishing and Chocobo riding.

Starting with Chocobo riding, these feathered friends will apparently be helpful in plenty of situations inside the world of "Final Fantasy XV." According to Gamespot, players can make the Chocobos walk, run, and even jump so that they can reach other places on the map they would not be able to get to otherwise.

Other details have also been revealed about the Chocobos of "Final Fantasy XV."  These creatures can be rented for 10 to 30 days and they can even be used in races and other activities.

Unfortunately, players will not be allowed to breed or raise their own Chocobos in the game.

As for fishing, players can try this out whenever they stumble upon bodies of water inside the game. Players will then cast their lures; wait for a fish to bite; and then follow the prompts that appear onscreen to reel them in after that. Once caught, fishes can be cooked and consumed in order to receive a status buff.

"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata also revealed other interesting tidbits about the game during the Tokyo Game Show event, according to Kotaku.

For example, Gilgamesh, a character that has appeared in several "Final Fantasy" titles in the past, could be coming to the game as downloadable content (DLC), while the iconic Moogles of entries past will apparently not be included.

Players can set up their weapons prior to a battle and then also change them in real-time while in the middle of combat. Limit breaks will also be coming back to "Final Fantasy XV," although they won't be known by the same name.

There will also be at least one new magic spell featured in the game.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently expected to be released some time in 2016.
