'Far Cry 4: Overrun' DLC with PvP mode available

Far Cry 4 Season Pass Official Ubisoft Blog

"Overrun," the second downloadable content for "Far Cry 4," is now available to all platforms. It delivers the player-versus-player mode of the game, which enables players to form teams and try to gain control of three different areas in order to win. In addition, the new DLC gives players access to new maps, items and vehicles that can be used in the PvP match.

Below are the new additions in the game brought about by the latest expansion pack, according to Ubiosft:

New PvP mode - As one of the prime features of the "Overrun" DLC, the PvP mode features three new locations, which activates one at a time. Two teams battle each other to control the active zone and try to score better than the other. Teams play two rounds and the team with a higher added score wins.

Four new maps - The DLC comes with four new maps that are crafted "to support the tactical yet frenetic gameplay of Overrun."

New vehicle - Players get to enjoy a new vehicle that is of good use in the PvP mode, giving gamers speed and power in navigating "Overrun's" fields.

The "Overrun" expansion pack is available for $10 and is also included in the "Far Cry 4" season pass that costs $30. After "Overrun," players are anticipating the release of the next DLC, "Valley of the Yetis."

Meanwhile, following the release of the "Escape From Durgesh Prison" DLC last month that adds a new mission that must be completed in the shortest time possible, the developer also gifts players with a patch update that enables gamers to customize maps for use within co-op games.
