The new "Escape from Durgesh Prison" DLC for "Far Cry 4" is now available for download. The new expansion pack is available for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 platforms.

The latest downloadable content shows Ajay and Hurk captured in the northern region of Kyrat. The two are defenseless, tortured and without weapons and locked away in Yuma's prison. In order to escape the prison, the two need to overcome a series of challenges perpetrated by the evil leader Pagan Min. They also need to acquire weapons and upgrade them before a final showdown.

The new content can be played solo or with a friend in co-op mode. The mission is a time trial, which means that players must complete the mission in the shortest time possible to be on top of the online leaderboard. Moreover, this means that players will be forced to restart the mission from the beginning should they fail in their attempt.

The "Escape From Durgesh Prison" DLC is currently available for $10. It is also included in the "Far Cry 4" season pass that costs $30.

Meanwhile, "Far Cry 4" is far more stable now than it was before. Right after the release of the game on Nov. 10 to all platforms, players immediately found and complained about the bugs and issues that plagued the game, including sudden crashes and multiplayer problems.

Thus, Ubisoft released a series of patch updates. The latest patch addresses the problems in story mission progression, shop menu functions, missing radio call audio, localization, and incorrect subtitles. Moreover, the patch resolves random crashes, map browser, co-op play, and machine gun's aiming accuracy problems.

"Far Cry 4" is the fourth installment of the highly successful first-person shooter and adventure game series. In this new game, players need to traverse the Himalayas and struggle under the leadership of a tyrant. Players get to complete the game by using a myriad of weapons and vehicles, and they can also work toward three different endings.
