'Fallout 5' rumors: Voice actor spills some beans regarding 'Fallout 4' sequel

 Bethesda

Ryan Alosio, the voice actor behind "Fallout 4's" constant companion, Deacon, gave some information on something happening over at Bethesda, the game developer and publisher of the game. He said that the company is prepping up for "Fallout 5."

Apparently, during a conversation that happened on Instagram between him and a fan nicknamed fallout_temple, the voice actor typed away, "Yeah, that slipped by me somehow, the d*** sunglasses and dark hair. Zeeeeeke! Seriously though, I appreciate that, it would be very helpful to gather more followers for the fantastic Fallout 4 tribe here, internally there is movement gearing up for the pre-production of Fallout 5 ....(shhh), obviously I can't get into any details at all right now but it will be a very interesting journey moving forward. [thumbs up emoticon]."

After a couple of minutes, Alosio, apparently realizing his mistake, took the post down. Fraghero, however, was able to capture a screenshot of the Instagram post.

Nobody can stop Bethesda if they are considering a "Fallout 4" sequel. The post-apocalyptic game can be considered a huge success. The game shipped 12 million copies in the first 24 hours, which equates to roughly $750 million in sales. According to Steam Spy, the game was also downloaded from Steam by 1.2 M players on the first day alone.

The game also received several awards and numerous nominations. It bagged the Game of the Year and Role-playing Game of the Year awards during the 19th D.I.C.E. Awards.

Currently, players of "Fallout 4" are still waiting for its first expansion. The "Automatron" DLC is said to be released this March. Two more DLC packs, "Wasteland Workshop" and "Far Harbor," are scheduled for April and May releases.

Bitbag suggested several great cities that can be candidates for the next "Fallout" game. The cities include New York, Texas and Tokyo.

"Fallout 4" was released on Nov. 10 last year for the Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
