F1 United States Grand Prix 2016 live stream (NBC): Watch Formula One USA GP online today

The United States F1 Grand Prix 2016 takes place on Sunday with Lewis Hamilton taking pole position ahead of his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg in what could be a pivotal race in determining who will win the drivers' championship this year. The USA Formula One Grand Prix has a scheduled start time of 3 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through live stream via the link below.

Today's race is set to be crucial in deciding this year's F1 champion, and reigning holder Hamilton has it all to do after a series of car problems this year has left him trailing his teammate Nico Rosberg.

Hamilton comes into this race 33 points behind Rosberg, and with only four races to go he will likely need to win all the remaining races, and still hope that Rosberg trips up somewhere. If Rosberg even finishes second in every remaining race he will take the title this year.

Hamilton has made a good start to the race though, beating his Mercedes teammate by 0.216 seconds in the qualifying to take pole. Red Bull's Daniel Rocciardo and Max Verstappen took third and fourth places on the grid, where as Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel are next in the placings.

Lewis Hamilton will now be focusing hugely on the start of the race on Sunday. He has had problems at the start of races numerous times this season, and he will be prioritizing getting round the first corner still in first place.

The weather report for souther Texas is for warm, sunny weather on Sunday, and 95,000 fans are expected to attend the race live, so the United States Grand Prix this year is all set with perfect conditions for the racers.

Hamilton has said ahead of the race: "I feel amazing. It is my first pole here and many years of trying. I want to say a big thank you to the crowd - I could hear everyone cheering as I crossed the line and the energy was incredible."

Meanwhile, Rosberg has said, "Lewis was just quicker in sector one today. That's the way it is. He did a good job. As we have seen this year, qualifying is not all-important so I still have a good chance in the race."

Sunday's massive United States F1 Grand Prix 2016 has a scheduled start time of 3 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through live stream by clicking here.
