Do you smell what Cristiano Ronaldo is cooking?

Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson certainly did when he saw Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo's post on Instagram showing a side by side comparison of the footballer and the actor wearing somewhat identical clothes. The photo was recently shared by National Broadcasting Company (NBC) news via Twitter.

And it did not take long for "The Rock" to respond in his trademark wisecracking style. Taking to Twitter, Johnson posted: "One looks like a gangster with a $1million bucks worth of jewelry on and the other one looks like the buff lunch lady with a fanny pack containing 7 scratch off tickets."

Obviously, he was referring to himself on the latter remark.

Johnson, who is also an actor, is known for generating tremendous reaction from the crowd whenever he gets on the microphone. Whenever he speaks, the crowd can expect him to churn out an endless barrage of jokes and insults, usually intended to get into other wrestler's nerves.

The Twitter post, so far, has gathered close to 73,000 likes, which not only proves how popular he is, but also how good he still is at making people laugh. Add the fact that he is not afraid to throw insults at himself just to entertain people makes him all the more endearing to his fans.

Several people also joined in on the fun, posting their own version of the picture.

Johnson is currently busy promoting his latest monster movie "Rampage" directed by Brad Peyton. In the film, he co-stars with Naomi Harris, Malin Akerman and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The film is scheduled to be released on April 20, 2018 in 3D and IMAX.

Ronaldo and his team, meanwhile are recently coming off a loss after Real Madrid was outclassed 3–0 by Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona.
