'Dungeons 2' release date slated for April 2015

 Dungeons 2

The strategy simulation video game that was released on Jan. 27, 2011, will be getting a sequel titled "Dungeons 2." According to IGN, the game's developer, Realmforge Studios, will be making additional efforts in order to provide the best possible experience for gamers who prefer real time strategy titles. The game's core plot will be revolving around players who will be taking control of the Dungeon Lord.

According to both the developer and the publishing company named Kalypso Media, "Dungeons 2" will be released worldwide on April 24, 2015 and will be available for the Windows, Mac, and SteamOS platforms. According to the information posted on IGN's website, "Dungeons 2" will feature the option of traversing to other places of the overworld with the horde of monsters to aid the player during their primary or secondary quests.

There are several key differences separating "Dungeons" and "Dungeon Keeper," and players often get confused due to the similarities of the two titles. However, the primary differences between the two games is that the core objective in "Dungeons" and "Dungeons 2" will be that players will be required to grow their army of monsters in order to progress through the game, whereas "Dungeon Keeper" requires players to keep an eye on their controlled heroes.

Furthermore, "Dungeons" features an on-screen avatar, who is called the Dungeon Lord. The Lord can teleport bodies to the prison room in order to consume their Soul Energy. There are two ways on how this can be carried out. Either the body is harvested to reap the Soul Energy, or it can roam the dungeon defeating heroes one at a time.

The upcoming title will be featuring a single player campaign with 2 playable factions, and four competitive multiplayer modes in which up to four players can participate on a LAN or Internet connection.
