The Tournament of Power arc of "Dragon Ball Super" is coming to a close, with the remaining fighters of the Universe 7 and Universe 11 teams giving their all for their survival. At the end of the tournament, only one team will reign victorious, and as per the rules, the losing team will have their universe obliterated. With this, Frieza, Goku, and Vegeta are determined to defeat the Universe 11's warriors, particularly Toppo, who has revealed his true form as a God of Destruction.
According to Comic Book, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 126, titled "Surpass Even a God! Vegeta's Desperate Blow!!" will see Android 17 facing Toppo, as Frieza was easily overpowered by the Universe 11 fighter from the previous episode. To recall, Frieza had underestimated Toppo's power, but the latter shocked everyone, including the God of Destruction Beerus himself, when he revealed his god-like power. Android 17 will be no match to Toppo, but the episode preview suggests that Vegeta will be the one to save the day as he challenges Toppo to a face-off.
It appears that Android 17 will be saved from an apparent elimination, especially that his teammate, Frieza, is still unconscious after Toppo's damaging blow. Vegeta is said to leave Goku from their tag team fight against Jiren in order to take down Toppo. The Saiyan Prince might be amazed by Toppo's recent display of power, and being the first person to defeat a God of Destruction would be a great achievement for him. Vegeta is expected to use a "non-stop, full power attack" in a desperate move to weaken Toppo, but knowing how immense the power of a God of Destruction, Vegeta will need to give all of his strength to defeat the enemy.
The spoilers for the future "Dragon Ball Super" episodes already offered hints that Vegeta will sacrifice himself to eliminate Toppo from the Tournament of Power. After Gohan and Frieza, Vegeta is likely to be the next fighter to be eliminated from the Universe 7 team, leaving Goku and Android 17 to finish the rest of the Universe 11 warriors. The episode 127 title itself, "Entrusting Hope to the Final Barrier!" suggests that Android 17 will use his special barrier technique against the opponent, meaning that he will be able to survive next week's episode.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 126 will air in Japan on Sunday, Feb. 4.
